Effective Monday, March 23rd, Munising Public Schools will begin delivering free lunches for pick up at eight different locations! Lunches will also still be available for pick up at the Munising Middle/High School from noon to 1:00pm each day. Any child 18 years or younger, or students with disabilities ages 18-26 with an active IEP may receive a free lunch daily.
Lunches may be picked up from our white food service van at the following locations and times. Food service personnel will be at each location for approximately 10 minutes to distribute lunches. Times are approximate.
11:00 - 11:10am Mather Elementary, Jewell Street entrance
11:15 - 11:25am Hillside Apartments, parking lot
11:30 - 11:40am Wetmore, Baptist Church parking lot
11:50 - Noon Shingleton, Munising Motor Sports parking lot
Noon - 1:00pm Munising Middle/High School main entrance
12:10 - 12:20pm Van Meer, Bear Trap parking lot
12:30 - 12:40pm End of Hilltop Road near former Hilltop Store
12:50 - 1:00pm Christmas - West end of Kewadin Casino parking lot
1:10 - 1:20pm AuTrain - Peoples State Bank parking lot
We are still trying to estimate how many lunches to prepare each day, so if you are planning on picking up a lunch at any of the delivery locations, please call 906-387-2103, extension 2193, and let us know how many lunches. If you are unable to call, you may still pick up a lunch.
