Your last chance to register and/or change your course schedule at the middle/high school is next week Monday-Thursday! Class changes will only occur IF absolutely necessary once school begins.
A NEW TRADITION is happening at MHS! We are replacing the winter formal HOP with a formal HOMECOMING DANCE! Tickets will be sold in school for students in grades 9-12! #StangNation

Mustang Readers Are Getting Ready for a Great Year!
We had a special visit from Leila and Leo this week as they stopped by to get registered for the 2026–2027 school year- and they had lots to share about what they’ve been reading this summer!
Leila is currently deep into the world of Harry Potter, and we loved hearing about their summer reading adventures!
Leila and Leo each got to choose a book from our Mather Book Vending Machine to take home and enjoy. What better way to keep that summer reading going?!
We LOVE seeing our Mustangs excited about books and reading!

SENIOR YEAR IS GETTING REAL!
A Mustang senior rite of passage is officially underway!
Piper and Carissa spent their Thursday night hard at work preparing and painting their Senior Parking Spots for the 2026-2027 school year!
There’s just something special about seeing our seniors begin these traditions that mark the start of their FINAL year as Mustangs!
The paint is out, the creativity is flowing, and SENIOR YEAR is right around the corner!
Keep working, girls! we can’t wait to see the finished spots!

Mather Summer School Spotlight!
What a fantastic way to wrap up summer school at Mather!
For the final day, Ms. Schalow and our 2nd & 3rd grade summer school students put on a wonderful play-complete with handmade scenery, lots of creativity, and some pretty impressive acting!
Our students worked together to learn their parts, create the setting, and bring their story to life. It was such a fun way to celebrate all of the learning, teamwork, and friendships that have filled our summer school program.
A big THANK YOU to our teachers Ms. Schalow, Mrs. Mattson, Ms. Mickie Dausey and Mr. Bowerman and our summer school volunteers- Kadynce DeFrancesco, Drew Uehlein, and Jake Johnson for making these past few weeks engaging, meaningful, and fun for our students.
