MPS SCHOOL CALENDAR UPDATE - 5.17.23 Great News! MDE Approved our Forgiven Time Waiver Request The last day of school for students will be a 1/2 day on Friday, June 9th. Teachers will have professional development in the afternoon on June 9th.

MUNISING PUBLIC SCHOOLS NOTICE OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 2015-01 OPERATION OF SNOWMOBILES & OFF-ROAD VEHICLES: The Munising Police Department brought to our attention Section 3 of this ordinance which notes that "Operation of snowmobiles or ORV's in the City of Munising are for the purposes of accessing designated snowmobile/ORV operating areas, from locations in the City, and returning from those places to locations in the City..." Therefore we ask that students and other citizens abide by this ordinance and refrain from driving these vehicles to and from school and being present on school grounds with these vehicles. The MUPD and MPS appreciates your cooperation in this matter and believes that abiding by this ordinance will also increase student safety and safety for all city residents.

The May Pony Express has been updated! We had to make slight changes to the Spring Concert as well as the Mather Spelling Bee!

ALL OF THE SUPERS HAD A PIECE AND SHARED THEIR PRIDE IN "UP POWER" AS WELL AS COMMENTED ON HOW IMPRESSED THEY WERE WITH THE MATURITY, POISE, AND TALENT OF OUR TEAM AND COACHING STAFF!
