Due to sports trips we will be combining runs both Monday & Tuesday afternoon. Both days the students that normally ride Bus #10 (Turtle bus) will need to ride Bus #2 (Dino bus) home.

THANK YOU TO GREG & TAMMY NYEN, TRAVIS SMITH, NADEEN LAURICH, AND ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AT MARESA FOR THE AWESOME CAKE WHICH THEY PROVIDED AT THE SUPERINTENDENTS' ROUNDTABLE MEETING TODAY. ALL OF THE SUPERS HAD A PIECE AND SHARED THEIR PRIDE IN "UP POWER" AS WELL AS COMMENTED ON HOW IMPRESSED THEY WERE WITH THE MATURITY, POISE, AND TALENT OF OUR TEAM AND COACHING STAFF! CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN TO OUR TEAM! COACH KIENITZ THERE IS LEFTOVER CAKE COMING YOUR WAY :-)

TIME TO CELEBRATE!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR MUSTANG STATE CHAMPIONS!!!
What an amazing team, coaches, parents, and fan base. The composure, leadership, sportsmanship, and selflessness of our players and coaches this season was admirable and exemplified what it means to be a Mustang! They are all role models on the court and in the classroom. It has been an honor and a humbling experience to be part of this team's historic journey. Munising is truly a special place and has much for which to be proud. I've never witnessed such universal support from all corners and all generations of any community and add to that the collective goodwill expressed by the people from towns across the Upper Peninsula and it felt like the Mustangs were destined to win. UP POWER!!! Due to dangerous travel conditions, the team will be spending tonight in East Lansing before making the journey home tomorrow. We are planning a community celebration to take place after spring break so that everyone can participate in honoring our Mustang Boys' Basketball State Championship Team. Stay tuned for more information to be shared during the week of April 3rd. Orange & Black forever!
