We are thrilled to announce that 906 Drive will be offering segment 2 driver's education classes at the middle/high school. Those that registered in the office, please check your registered email for more information. There are 36 spots available and you MUST register online to be included!

ALSO ALL ATHLETIC PRACTICES, EVENTS AND SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELED FOR TOMORROW. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND STAFF CAN EXPECT COMMUNICATION FROM THE PRINCIPAL REGARDING RESCHEDULING OF EXAMS.

Today and tomorrow, Bus #10 (Turtle Bus) will be used for afternoon trips and will be replaced by sub bus #9A. Also Bus #6 (Deer bus) will be replaced by Sub-Bus #9B until further notice for service work.

Munising Middle/High School will once again be open for winter walking/running in the upstairs hallway Monday-Thursday from 5pm to 8pm.

MPS TRANSPORTATION UPDATE:
Beginning Tuesday, January 10th the district will be changing back from 5 bus routes to the original 6 bus routes. Presently increased driver availability makes this return possible through at least March and will reduce travel times and distances while improving seating space for students on Bus #2 and Bus #10. The route details for these two buses is below.
Bus #2 will now be back on it's route which starts it's first pick up at 6:30 AM on H58 just west of Wooddale Rd, then goes to Indiantown Rd, Carmody Rd, Rosewood Park , Hilltop Rd, north 1/2 of Connor Rd to Lehnen Rd, Lehnen Rd, Alger Hts. Rd, Alger Heights, Irish Hills, Native American Housing, & stops in town on Varnum St & at Mather School at the Chocolay Street entrance.
Bus #10 will go back to its original route starting at Powell Lake area at 6:55 AM, south half of Connors Rd to Miller Rd, Miller Road & sub division off of Miller Rd, & Gates Rd . If need be, bus #10 will pick up down FFH-13/440 area at 6:35AM.

All parents, students, and community members, you are invited to participate in our upcoming Student Health and Safety Forum. With a panel of 10 local representatives from the student body, school staff, law enforcement and community agencies, we hope to raise awareness of the importance of student mental health and school safety and identify the efforts already being made within the community. We also hope to educate the community about available resources and how to access them and identify service gaps or barriers in the school and community.
